The ZOLEO is a satellite communicator that pairs with your smartphone to provide global two-way messaging, location sharing, and SOS alerting when you are outside of mobile network coverage.  Using the Iridium satellite network, it seamlessly switches between Wi-Fi, cellular, and satellite networks, so you only use satellite data when necessary.
